THE GAMES

AXE THROWING

Synonymous with the Vikings, axe throwing combines skill and accuracy

The axe was a popular Viking weapon which were typically lightweight and well balanced for ease of throwing.

ARCHERY

This ancient sport dates back over 20,000 years. Take aim and fire.

Archery played a major role in both hunting and warfare of the Vikings. It’s one of the oldest skills in the history book.

BULLRINGS

Played by Icelandic farmers for centuries. Throw the wooden rings on to the Bull’s horns.

Originating in Iceland, bullrings is a unique throwing game requiring skill and precision. A mixture of modern games of quoits and connect four.

KUBB

Kubb is one of the fastest growing team sports around the world.

Kubb, meaning bowler in Swedish, is played with wooden blocks and is great fun. Requires precision and tactical gameplay.

MOLKKY

Molkky is a highly addictive game, originating in Finland, it is similar to skittles but with an exciting twist.

In Molkky players take it in turns to knock down the pins by throwing the wooden block. Each throw gets harder and harder as the pins begin to spread out.

STIGE

Stige is a fun and simple game from Norway that is always an instant hit.

Players are given two wooden balls connected together by a string, with the aim of throwing the balls in just the right way that they wrap around the Stige (ladder in Norwegian).

PAINTBALL

Although not a traditional Viking game, we have been running paintballing on site for over 12 years.

Three zones, eight games and unlimited enjoyment. Paintballing is a great adrenaline activity.

LASER CLAY SHOOTING

Again not a Viking game but it’s available to play on site.

Similar to clay pigeon shooting but uses modified shotguns that fire lasers instead of live ammunition, thus eliminating any dangers. It’s always a massive ‘hit’ with our customers.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Both Kevin and Claire are very welcoming and great fun which makes the whole experience even better. This was my second visit to the venue. And will definitely be going back again.

Had a lot of fun today doing Archery and Axe throwing, plus got to have a go with some throwing knives. Will definitely be visiting again and recommend people give this a go!

Jordan Widdows

I booked this as a date day for my husband and I. It was a great experience and something a little different. We were given guidance for each activity and we enjoyed the competition between us! Thank you for a fantastic day!
